NARA·ROOMSPremium Student Living

A considered start in Japan

Student housing in Nara,
ready for everyday life.

Choosing a student home abroad means more than choosing a bed. You need a place to study, a monthly budget you understand and a clear plan for arriving. Nara Rooms brings those essentials together in a five-room shared home.

A private bedroom, shared everyday spaces

Every room is for one resident and includes its own air-conditioning, a comfortable bed, pillows, bedding, desk, monitor, mirror and wardrobe. Four rooms have a double bed; the Basic Room has a single bed. The kitchen, dining area, laundry facilities, bath and two toilets are shared. Only the Balcony Room has its own private balcony.

Monthly costs you can compare

The Balcony Room is ¥80,000 per month, each Classic Room is ¥75,000, and the Basic Room is ¥60,000. Electricity, gas, water and Starlink Wi-Fi are included, with ¥0 key money. A six-month minimum stay applies. Before moving in you pay your first month’s rent plus a refundable ¥150,000 security deposit, with no other mandatory move-in charges.

Choose a room that suits your routine

Four rooms are 6 tatami (about 9.7 m²) and the Basic Room is 3 tatami (about 4.9 m²). Each room page shows its floor plan, so you can picture your space before you arrive.

Plan around your campus

Nara Rooms is in Daianji, about 23 minutes on foot or roughly 7 to 9 minutes by bike from JR Nara Station’s East Gate, with Kyoto Station approximately 48 minutes and Osaka Station 54 minutes away by train. Send us your campus name and we’ll help you plan your commute.

Enquire from abroad, in a familiar language

You can communicate in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German or Portuguese. Send your dates, explore the house on a video tour and discuss the required documents and arrival arrangements remotely. An enquiry is not a legally binding reservation.
